Question by hornguy1973: how do i keep my b&d spacesaver coffee maker from draining all over my countertop?
the pot or basket adjusts and the coffee stops flowing due to the sneak-a-cup feature. coffee ens up all over my counter and i end up pissed off. it seems the tension spring has too much spring. anyone else ever figure this out?

    Another fine example of the technological genius of corporate america. Your Black and Decker coffee machine is no longer made in US of A. In fact, I don’t think Black and Decker has any manufacturing in either North or South America, let alone in US of A. They were one of the earliest companies to start shipping their manufacturing jobs our of the US, looking for cheaper and cheaper manufacturing opportunities.

    This is another example of planned obsolescence – the items works only as long as the warranty.

    My advise, chuck your B & D and buy a Bodim coffee maker system. Takes a bit of trial and error to get just the right flavour, but at least it wont leak all over the cabinet and floor.
