Q&A: Where can I find Filipino Barako coffee in the US?

Question by coffeegirl: Where can I find Filipino Barako coffee in the US?
I’ve been looking for this coffee. I’ve always liked this strong coffee. I bought a few from the Philippines while I was on vacation there. But I can’t find a store that sells them in the US.

I don’t think you can buy it anywhere in the states. I had someone bring some back for me. It’s the one in the dark brn package pre-ground right? It’s an intense taste that’s for sure. I think I still have one unopened. I didn’t like that much. I had someone bring back some green beans too, 2 lbs. When I roasted them it smelled like the Barako too. Black Gold I think they call Barako right?
