@tuberpie68 you sure seem really… anxious and paranoid about water. oO water is constantly tested and the newspaper is media with broadest reach in this part of the country. radio of cause too, but there are only two really local stations… and still most people read the newspapers… and there are very few “microbes” who kill or cripple people. and most of them aren’t even heat resistant. .. and if there are people killed by it.. so be it. i’d call that kismet.
@nilaya87 Damn! Your community’s water system doesn’t do anything to kill microbes, until a test detects them, then they use the slowest of all mass media to inform the people!! Damn! I’m sure glad that I don’t live there!!! From the time deadly or crippling microbes get into the system, to the time a person learns of it, they could easily consume some, and be on the road to death, or a life time of major disability!!!! You better get out of that town, while you can still walk!!!!!
OMG. thats a tea maker! You shouldnt make coffee with that. omg. it works different from a coffee maker. Its not the best way to make coffee. sorry for my english. but you are dumb
@nilaya87 they only chlorinate if tests detect unwanted bacterial colonies. and if that’s the case the local newspaper is informed so that people don’t use the tap water for preparing food without decocting it.
@tuberpie68 When i prepare the coffee the way I do it minimizes the unwanted bitterness, so coffee is ready to consume without adding sweeteners. But honey has a strong flavor on it’s own that doesn’t do well when mixed with other strong flavors – like coffee. it sort of cancelles each other out. so sugar is better, I think. and I don’t have to use something other than tap water because our water suppliers don’t add flouride to the water and normally don’t use chlorine.
@nilaya87 filtered tap water is not “plain tap water” & honey “destroys the coffee’s flavor” if you consider bitterness a desirable part of the flavor. To find out why you should use something other than tap water, go to Gary Null’s sites & search for fluoride, chlorine, tap water, safety, health
@tuberpie68 and i still use plain tap water for cooking and preparing tea and coffee.. why should i use something else? our water supplier has such a nice quality (except the fact that the water is very calcareous – but that’s inevitable and can be alleviated by using a brita filter) … and using honey in coffee is just.. uargh.. wrong. most of the time it destroys the coffees flavor..
@nilaya87 It’s not how well water is monitored; it’s what’s put in it, & what’s taken out of it. I buy water that’s filtered & chlorinated by the water district, then purified, thru several processes, of everything but minerals which make it palatable by a company which, unlike other cos. whose machines I could buy from, inspects & services their machines once a week. I avoid coffee, but when I need it, I use honey to sweeten. Great health info like this at garynull(DOT)com & garynull(DOT)org
